Man bekommt wohl nicht mehr “Old School” zusammen, wenn diese beiden Legenden zusammen musizieren. Beide Musiker waren Größen aus den frühen Tagen des Jazz. Kid Ory wurde 1886 geboren und spielte bereits 1896 Posaune!! Außerdem war er es, der Joe Oliver den Beinamen “King” gab.
