Vor achtzig Jahren startete Claude Dorniers Riesen-Flugschiff Do X vom Bodensee aus zu neuen Zielen jenseits des Atlantiks. Mit ihrem vierten Album New Destination machen sich die Jazzer der Do X Memorial Big Band ebenfalls auf die Reise zu neuen musikalischen Abenteuern. Mehr noch als bisher wird dabei auch in die Pop-Kiste gegriffen. Sowohl „ Got To Get You Into My Life“ von den Beatles, als auch „Little Wing“ von Jimi Hendrix wurden dafür speziell für den Frauenchor zoffvoices und die Big Band arrangiert.
