Eine tolle ruhige Weihnachtsplatte auf Vinyl

Wer Diana Kralls Stimme mag, findet diese Platte toll. Es ist eine Weihnachtsplatte und wer ruhig interpretierte Weihnachtsklassiker mag, wird hier fündig. Die Begleitband ist gut ortbar und nie aufdringlich. Ich mag diese Platte und empfehle die sehr gerne. Der Presssung gebe ich nur 4 Sterne, da Optimal Media einiges an knistern zulässt. Das können die besser, wenn sie denn dürfen. Wem nach LED Zeppelin oder Black Sabbath ist, sollte auch nur dort bewerten und nicht hier Fans von ruhiger Weihnachtsmusik irritieren.

Christmas Songs von Diana Krall

Geht es Ihnen auch so? Mit den Jahren sammeln sich so diverse Weihnachts-CD-Alben an. Angefangen vom Bad Tölzer Knabenchor, über Rolf Zuckowski, Christmas mit Mario Lanza, Christmas in Vienna und diversen anderen Alben bis zu den Christmas Songs von Diana Krall. So jedes Weihnachtsalbum hat seinen Charme, den es in der passenden Situation ausspielen kann.
So hat auch Diana Krall's Album "Christmas Song" mit seinen 12 Titeln und einer Gesamtlaufzeit von 44 Minuten seinen Charme, wenn nicht gerade kleine Kinder im Hause sind, die "ihre" Weihnachtsmusik hören wollen. Allerdings vermag das Album auch mich nicht so restlos zu überzeugen, weder von der Musik noch vom Vortrag von Diana Krall. Das sechsseitige Beiheft umfasst letztlich eine Diskografie mit Angaben zur Produktion und Fotos von Diana Krall.
Alles in Allem: Gesamtbewertung drei Sterne.

Die Bewertung mit 3 Sternen ist noch sehr freundlich, wenn auch die Begründung etwas knapp ist. Mancher Gesangsvortrag ist noch annehmbar, mancher eine Zumutung! (White Christmas z.B.). Über Alles klar überflüssig, sowohl von D.K., wie als Weihnachts-CD. Nicht zur Rezension erforderlich, aber erwähnenswert : Das Cover ist eine Geschmacklosigkeit höchsten Grades!
