Das auf dieser DVD dokumentierte Konzert in der Münchner Philharmonie in Juli 1997 beweist eindrucksvoll, daß zwei ebenbürtige Partner, so oft sie auch über die Jahrzehnte schon miteinander musiziert haben, nicht in glatter Routine erstarren müssen, sondern, ganz im Gegenteil, die Spontanität und Dynamik ihres Dialogs noch steigern können. Den Vergleich mit dem gelungenen und erfolgreichen Studioalbum muß diese Live-Aufzeichnung jedenfalls keineswegs scheuen - ja, es hat den Eindruck, daß Burton und Corea auf der Konzertbühne sogar noch inspirierter und gelöster improvisieren.
