Perfect booklet

Great repertoire, played and recorded good on lesser known organs. The booklet is very informative with good photos.
This also goes for Volume 2 and 3. Very recommended.

Set up as a travel guide, this books brings us from north to south Germany. Each organ is discussed in detail with lots of, sometimes amusing, anecdotes. Plenty of photo's and all the dispositions are mentioned in the last part of the book.

Excellent recordings of all the keyboard works of Frescobaldi. The instruments are well chosen, both in period as in sound.
One minor detail: the names of the vocal soloists and choir are not mentioned.
