Best bigband ever
This is the best Big Band you can hear. It's better then Kenton, Basie, Ellis, McConnel, Bill Holman, Thad Jones/Mel Lewis. The arrangements can only be played by top professional bands. There is a sax chorus in "sax no end" that belongs to the top 3 of sax choruses.
I can only suggest to buy these records and enjoy and become a fan. The drumming by Kenny Clarke is so different from the usual big band drummer. The rhythm is in the ride cymbal, not the bass drum etc etc.
