I am so grateful that Natalie wrote this beautiful courage heart stories and look to emotions hidden in word love. This is not post Covid and post pandemic confession but stories taken from Natalie’s heart and brain. It’s Bible, myths, European & American history, Celtic or Irish inspirations, tributes to local society. Covid caused huge pain and losses. It’s good to have some break from this bad times.
Lyrically this is one of the best album of her. No doubts. I found many connections to Ophelia and Leave Your Sleep. This reach arrangements and diverse instrumentations produced amazing tempo in songs, I don’t find special melancholic mood, it’s really wise song selection and intellectual challenge. I am great fan of symphonic by the way ? I feel super comfortable in this catalogue and I am superb fan of flute and oboe. Oh my, this will be long journey with Keep Your Courage. So many emotions to be discovered still.
Sister Tilly – this can be one of the best songs ever written. From soft art pop to super folk hit, almost 8 minute perfection with very touching lyrics.
One of the most beautiful record recorded last years.
