The return of the Prog giant

After a long wait there is finally another album and what a superb album it has become. The songs have been developed over the years and you can hear that the music is very refined and captivates from the first to the last second. The band members keep each other in balance so that something magical happens.

The obessive urge of mister Steven Wilson to look for other directions.

I have been a fan of Porcupine Tree since the beginning and saw them play in rooms where we were listening with 30 people. I also thoroughly enjoyed Seven Wilson solo. At many concerts he made jokes about the gloomy lyrics he wrote and that he was simply prog. I liked his previous album a lot less and especially after the sublime Hand cannot erase. His new album sounds more electronic, nothing wrong with that since I am also a fan of Tangerine Dream. I like the concept of the album but think it is musically superficial. The obessive urge of mister Steven Wilson to look for other directions makes this album feel forced and because of this there is no more tension in the music that is present on all his other albums.

Great music but poor quality of the vinyl.

The music is very good but you need to own it on cd.I received my copy of Gazpacho: Molok (180g) but the quality of the pressing is so bad that it's no fun to listen to. There are allot of pops and clicks and other noise that make it unlistenable.
