Im späten Mittelalter nannten die Bewohner Südnorwegens magische Attacken aus der Arktis (oder was sie dafür hielten) »Nordsending«. Gemeint waren unerklärliche Phänomene, die von nordischen Hexen ausgelöst wurden. Mit diesem Programm hat das Trio Aristos eine »Nordsending« ganz eigener Art vorgelegt: zeitgenössisch, aber zugleich magisch. Musik von bedeutenden Komponisten und Komponistinnen Skandinaviens, darunter drei Werke des großen alten Mannes der dänischen Musik, Per Nørgård, die um 1990 herum entstanden sind.
