Tomba Sonora (Blu-ray Audio & SACD)
The Blu-ray Audio Disc (also Pure Audio Blu-ray) is technically a normal Blu-ray Disc and can be played on any Blu-ray player. However, it does not contain any video content. The high storage capacity is used for high-resolution audio data (stereo and surround, up to 24 bit/192 kHz). It is operated either without a screen like a conventional CD or via the onscreen menu like a normal Blu-ray disc.
SACD (Super Audio CD)The SACD uses a higher digital resolution than the audio CD and also offers the possibility to store multi-channel sound (surround sound). To enjoy the music in high-end quality, a special SACD player is required. Thanks to the hybrid function, most of the products marked "SACD" in our store can also be played on conventional CD players. In this case, however, the sound does not differ from that of a normal CD. In case of deviations, we point this out separately (non-hybrid).

Tomba sonora ist ein ortsspezifisches Musikprojekt für das Mausoleum im Emanuel Vigeland Museum in Oslo. Das Mausoleum ist in der Tat eine riesige Gruft, und seine Nachhallzeit hat bei der Konzeption und Komposition dieser Musik durch Kristin Bolstad eine wichtige Rolle gespielt; darüber hinaus werden der besondere Frequenzgang des Raums und die daraus abgeleiteten Obertöne auch aktiv im musikalischen Material genutzt. Die Positionierung der Sänger und die Richtung des Klangs sind nur einige der vielen Möglichkeiten, wie die akustischen Eigenschaften des Raums kreativ genutzt werden, um den Fluss und die Bewegung der Musik zu gestalten.
