Fünf Jahre nach ihrem gefeierten »Dresden Album« setzen Johannes Pramsohler und seine Kollegen des Ensemble Diderot ihre Entdeckungsreise durch die Triosonate im barocken Europa mit Werken aus Purcells London fort. Die Kombination aus bekannten Sonaten und Weltersteinspielungen zeigt, wie englische Komponisten das neue italienische Genre als Ausdrucksmittel nutzten und wie mühelos ausländische Komponisten sich das englische Idiom aneigneten und somit Kammermusik schufen, die feinsinniger und expressiver kaum sein könnte.
