Jubiläum des Royal Ballet wurde Frederick Ashtons Sylvia in ihrer eleganten und opulenten Dreiakterform wiederhergestellt.
Mit Bolle als Aminta neben Darcey Bussell in der Titelrolle ist dies eine wunderbare Präsentation von Virtuosität, Erfindungsreichtum und klassischer Schönheit. Im Gegensatz dazu strahlt Roland Petits Notre-Dame de Paris mit seiner coolen Choreographie und den schicken Kostümen von Yves Saint-Laurent Modernität aus.
Hier tanzt Bolles tragischer Quasimodo, abwechselnd wild und zärtlich, neben Natalia Osipova als Esmeralda. In einer zweiten Produktion der Scala fällt die traditionelle Grand Gala des Ballet Corps mit Mailands Amtszeit als Gastgeberstadt der EXPO 2015 zusammen, und Roberto Bolle spielt als einer der Étoiles der Scala eine zentrale Rolle in dem atemberaubenden Programm mit Auszügen.
Er führt den Pas de deux aus einem weiteren Petit-Meisterwerk auf, tanzt Don José zu Polina Semionovas Carmen, zusammen mit dem faszinierenden zeitgenössischen Solo Prototype.
