Nyman unterlegt im Kopfsatz die Namen der 96 Opfer mit Musik. "The Singing of the Names" wird ausdrucksstark von der in Liverpool geborenen Mezzosopranistin Kathryn Rudge vorgetragen. Die 96 Namen sind auch im Booklet enthalten, zusammen mit Michaels eigenen Gedanken über die Ereignisse, die zum Schreiben der Musik führten.
