Thanks to the hybrid function, most of the products marked "SACD" in our store can also be played on conventional CD players. Nicht wenige Standards des Great American Songbook stammen ebenfalls daraus. Die Filmstudios, die diese Werke einst in Auftrag gaben, sind nur nicht immer sorgsam damit umgegangen. JoAnn Kane hat sich auf die Rettung solcher Schätze spezialisiert. Der Musikwissenschaftler Derek Greten-Harrison, der hier auch als Bariton in Erscheinung tritt, hat viel Zeit in ihren Archiven verbracht, um Schätze, wie „State Fair“ – das einzige Musical, das Rodgers & Hammerstein für die Leinwand komponiert haben –, der Vergessenheit zu entreißen.
