CD 2 präsentiert solistisch geprägte Werke des Komponisten, interpretiert von renommierten Klassikkünstlern wie Paul Meyer, Reinhold Friedrich, Valentine Michaud u. a.
Das Programm wird dirigiert von Kevin Griffiths, einem der vielversprechendsten Dirigenten der jungen Generation, für den die überholte Trennung in »E-« und »U-Musik« schlichtweg nicht existiert.
