Dieses Album soll dazu beitragen, den Mangel an Aufnahmen belgischen Repertoires des 18. Jahrhunderts für Tasteninstrumente ein wenig zu lindern. Belgische Kompositionen waren vom französischen Stil inspiriert. Für diese Aufnahme wurde ein Instrument ausgesucht, das perfekt zur Zeit und Gegend passt und über ein Klangspektrum verfügt, wie es Loeillet als Ideal vorgeschwebt haben mag.
