Leticia Gomez-Tagle - Si! Sonatas.

Der Titel dieser CD ist auf ein Wortspiel zurückzuführen: »Sí« bedeutet »Ja« auf Spanisch, und gleichzeitig ist »si« auch der Name der Note H. Da ich drei Sonaten in h-Moll spiele, wollte ich eben diese dritte CD, die ich bei ARS eingespielt habe, mit »Sí« betiteln.
Ich spiele zwei der wichtigsten Sonaten der Romantik von zwei Komponisten, die am »pianistischsten« komponiert haben. Diese zwei großen Werke habe ich im Laufe der Jahre immer wieder gespielt. So sind sie gereift und konnte sie dann endlich aufnehmen.
Eine dritte Sonate ist dazu gekommen, einfach als Abschluss vom »allem« was in diesen Werken geschieht, denn die Sonate von Scarlatti ist eine sehr einfache und kurze Sonate. Ein barockes Kleinod.
