Sie präsentiert vier zentrale Werke: die Zweite Symphonie, das Klavierkonzert Nr. 2 und Die Toteninsel – Rachmaninoff führte sie bis zu seiner Emigration 1917 regelmäßig zusammen auf – sowie die Symphonischen Tänze, die der Komponist kurz vor seinem Tod verfasste.
