The SACD uses a higher digital resolution than the audio CD and also offers the possibility to store multi-channel sound (surround sound). To enjoy the music in high-end quality, a special SACD player is required. Thanks to the hybrid function, most of the products marked "SACD" in our store can also be played on conventional CD players. In this case, however, the sound does not differ from that of a normal CD. In case of deviations, we point this out separately (non-hybrid).

Warum ›Reflections‹?

Weil sich jede Art von Musik auf jeden von uns anders auswirkt. Deshalb habe ich mich dafür entschieden, drei sehr gegensätzliche Komponisten aufzunehmen, aber auch, weil ich zeigen wollte, dass sie aus irgendeinem »unterbewussten« Grund perfekt zusammenpassen…

Bach führt uns zur inneren Besinnung. Seine Musik lädt uns zum tiefen Nachdenken ein und weckt Emotionen.

Ravel ›reflektiert‹ Visionen, spiegelt Naturereignisse wie fließendes Wasser, sich im Wind bewegende Bäume und vieles andere. Cage, und insbesondere In a Landscape, provoziert eine eher unemotionale Reflexion unserer selbst. Seine Musik lädt uns dazu ein, uns und den Rest der Welt von außen zu betrachten.

Letztendlich liegt die Magie der Musik darin, wie sie sich in jedem von uns widerspiegelt und wie wir sie mit dem Publikum teilen. Romain Nosbaum
