Wir feiern den 150. Geburtstag von Ralph Vaughan Williams am Mittwoch, dem 12. Oktober 2022, mit diesem einzigartigen Kompilationsalbum. Das Album trägt den Namen »Serenade to Music«, die hier von David Briggs für Orgel transkribiert und auf der Willis-Orgel der Kathedrale von Truro aufgenommen wurde.
David gibt uns auch eine ganz erstaunliche Umsetzung des March Past of the Kitchen Utensils von The Wasps. »Serenade« ist ein gemischtes Album, das sowohl ein großes Jubiläum feiert als auch einen weiteren Beitrag zu Albions reicher Ernte an weniger bekannten Werken und neuen (und alten) Arrangements darstellt.
