Als der amerikanische Komponist Jack Stamp 2019 zum International Composer-in-Association der Grimethorpe Colliery Band ernannt wurde, konzipierte er ein Aufnahmeprojekt, das sich auf Werke konzentriert, die speziell für die GCB geschrieben wurden, darunter Kompositionen von ihm und Liz Lane, der anderen GCB Composer-in-Association, sowie andere Stücke, die in den jüngsten Aktivitäten der Band eine wichtige Rolle gespielt haben. Die kaleidoskopische Bandbreite an Stilen, die hier zu hören ist, zeigt die außergewöhnliche Virtuosität einer der bekanntesten Brass Bands der Welt.
