Mit »Let The Angels Sing« präsentieren Weltstar Michala Petri und das Danish Vocal Ensemble Melodien, die Sie garantiert noch nie gehört haben und die dennoch so vertraut klingen, als würde man sie schon ewig kennen. Es ist die Art von Musik, von der man das Gefühl hat, dass sie schon immer existiert haben muss und deshalb ganz natürlich zu unserer Welt gehört. Fast alle Stücke stammen aus dem Zeitraum zwischen dem Jahr 1200 und dem Ende der Renaissance. Es ist anonyme Kompositionen und alle sind so schön, so festlich, so herrlich, dass man diese (übrigens auch fabelhaft klingende) SACD nie wieder zum Weihnachtsfest missen möchte.
