Louise de Penancoët de Keroual (Lady Louise) war eine Spionin im Auftrag von Louis XIV. und die Geliebte von Charles II. Sie hatte den Auftrag, England unter dem Einfluss des Sonnenkönigs zu halten, und knüpfte enge Verbindungen zwischen Musikern auf beiden Seiten des Ärmelkanals. Diese politischen Absichten führten zu einem Repertoire, das ebenso reich und brillant wie ausdrucksstark ist. Eine echte Wiederentdeckung, die dem Ensemble Leviathan und Lucile Tessier zu verdanken ist.
