Wallonische Schätze
Jean-Noël Hamal wirkte von 1737 bis 1770 als Kapellmeister an der Kathedrale in Lüttich. Seine Musik steht ganz im Zeichen des Wandels vom barocken galanten Stil hin zur Klassik und besticht durch Vitalität, Charme und melodische Eleganz, die durch mehrere Italienaufenthalte geprägt wurde. Nicholas Achten und Scherzi Musicali präsentieren hier vier der Grand Motets für Lüttich.
