Don Quixote aus der Wiener Staatsoper
Don Quixote wurde vom Meisterchoreographen Marius Petipa und dem Komponisten Ludwig Minkus für das Bolschoi-Ballet in Moskau 1869 kreiert. Anlässlich des 400. Todestages von Cervantes wurde 2016 eine überarbeitete Fassung von Rudolf Nureyev aufgeführt, die der französische Choreograph Manuel Legris für das Wiener Staatsballett gestaltet hatte.

Die beiden Solotänzer Maria Yakovleva and Denys Cherevychko als Kitri und Basil wurden euphorisch gefeiert – sowohl vom begeisterten Publikum als auch von der Presse.
