The SACD uses a higher digital resolution than the audio CD and also offers the possibility to store multi-channel sound (surround sound). To enjoy the music in high-end quality, a special SACD player is required. Thanks to the hybrid function, most of the products marked "SACD" in our store can also be played on conventional CD players. In this case, however, the sound does not differ from that of a normal CD. In case of deviations, we point this out separately (non-hybrid).

Für die Bühne schrieb Luchesi noch in Italien, bevor er 1771 Kapellmeister in Bonn wurde. Dort hat er dann in 23 Jahren nur noch vier Opern komponiert. Und das, obwohl die Bonner Oper unter seiner Leitung eine Glanzzeit erlebte. Seine Instrumentalwerke »avanti l'Opera« koppelten sich schnell vom eigentlichen Verwendungszweck ab und zirkulierten in ganz Europa.
Das war gut möglich, weil es sich in der Tat um eigenständige dreisätzige Sinfonien in der Tradition der italienische Schule handelte – auch wenn sie die Funktion einer Opernouvertüre übernahmen. Qualitativ und stilistisch liegen sie dicht bei Paisiello und Cimarosa, doch überrascht Luchesi immer wieder mit originellen Ideen, die gegen die Regelwerke verstoßen.
