In this case, however, the sound does not differ from that of a normal CD. In case of deviations, we point this out separately (non-hybrid).

Namen, die nicht vergessen werden sollten

Die Interpretation höre ich mit Interesse. Andere Ansätze als man gewohnt ist, konzentriert den Aufnahmen sich zu widmen ist sicher empfehlenswert.

großartige Werke mit großartigen Interpreten

Zwei eindrucksvolle Beethoven-"Hits", die man selten (nie?) auf nur einer CD findet. Beides Mono-Aufnahmen aus den frühen 50ern, aber dennoch erstaunlich klangschön, so dass die historische Patina den Hörgenuss nicht beeinträchtigt. Der große Dirigent Wilhelm Furtwängler, sein nicht weniger eindrucksvoller Pianist Edwin Fischer zusammen mit den Wiener Philharmonikern (5. Sinfonie) bzw. dem Philharmonia Orchestra London "liefern" mustergültige Interpretationen. - Booklet nur auf Englisch und Französisch.
