Liebeswahn, göttliche Verehrung und die idealisierte Liebe zu einer angebeteten und zugleich unerreichbaren Frau – diese Thematik zieht sich wie ein roter Faden durch die Madrigale der Renaissance. Das Ensemble Elb´an Flutes hat sich der bereits damals gängigen Praxis bedient, vokale Werke instrumental umzusetzen. Dabei spielt das Ensemble mit dem Farbreichtum der verschiedenen Besetzungsmöglichkeiten von Blockflöten und Gamben und taucht ein in die Zwischenwelten von Nymphen und Musen.
