Aber auch die Position der Künstler auf der Bühne ist gut nachzuvollziehen. Die Leitung hat James Walker, der 1968 Musikdirektor der D'Oygly Carte Company von Isidore Godfrey übernahm. Die Einspielung der »Pinafore« entstand 1971.
