Guy-Claude Luypaerts (*1949) absolvierte seine musikalische Ausbildung am Pariser Conservatoire National de Musique. Dort wurde er mit 7 Preisen, u. a. dem 1. Preis für Flöte in der Klasse von Jean-Pierre Rampal und dem 1. Kompositionspreis in der Klasse von Tony Aubin ausgezeichnet. Auf dieser SACD erleben wir ihn gemeinsam mit anderen Musikern sowohl als Komponisten als auch als Interpreten.
