Mit War Silence – Rare Italian Piano Concertos trägt hier der italienische Pianist Roberto Prosseda dazu bei, diese Vernachlässigung mit einem Programm zu beheben, das nicht weniger als vier bedeutende Vertreter umfasst. Die zwischen 1900 und 2015 geschriebenen Werke werden für die meisten Hörer neu sein. Zwei Kompositionen sind Ersteinspielungen, und alle sind es unbedingt wert, in solch engagierten Aufführungen wie hier entdeckt zu werden.
