Band enthält eine große Auswahl dieser originellen, fantasievollen und farbenfrohen Werke. Er enthält beschwingte Tänze (KV 7), einen energiegeladenen Dreiertakt-Taumel (KV 55) und eine spanisch beeinflusste Anspielung auf den Flamenco (KV 142) – neben vielen anderen Beispielen für Scarlattis scheinbar grenzenlosen musikalischen Erfindungsreichtums.
