Auch wenn die Rameau-Renaissance auf Tonträger schon seit längerem im Gange ist, ihre volle Wirkung entfalten die Bühnenwerke erst in einer szenischen Produktion. Im besonderen Maße gilt dies für die einaktigen Ballettopern, wo der Tanz eine wichtige Rolle spielt.
