Die auf acht Bände angelegte Gesamtedition der Klaviersonaten von Dussek wird im Mai mit Vol. 7 fortgesetzt.
Dusseks (1760- 1812) enge Beziehung zum Klavierbauer Broadwood führte zur Erweiterung der Tastatur auf sechs Oktaven.
Diese neue Aufnahme enthält die beiden Sonaten op. 47, in London veröffentlicht und im Stil der Sonata facile komponiert.
Ebenfalls enthalten ist die große Sonate op. 64, auch Retour a Paris genannt.
