The SACD uses a higher digital resolution than the audio CD and also offers the possibility to store multi-channel sound (surround sound). To enjoy the music in high-end quality, a special SACD player is required. Thanks to the hybrid function, most of the products marked "SACD" in our store can also be played on conventional CD players. In this case, however, the sound does not differ from that of a normal CD. In case of deviations, we point this out separately (non-hybrid).

Die hierzulande kaum bekannte Orgelmusik des spanischen Jesuiten Nemesio Otaño S. J. (1880-1956) weist eine ebenso elegante wie innovative Tonsprache auf. Aus den insgesamt 19 Orgelwerken Otaños spricht seine große Bewunderung für spätromantische Komponisten wie Wagner, Bruckner, Mahler und Strauss. Einmal mehr machen AEOLUS und der Organist Esteban Elizondo Iriarte auf einen, trotz seiner Bedeutung, viel zu wenig gewürdigten spanischen Komponisten des 20. Jahrhunderts aufmerksam. Lohnenswert ist dabei aber auch die Begegnung mit der Cavaillé-Coll-Orgel (1889) in der Basilica de Loyola.
