Eines ihrer frühesten Werke, "Nocturne: La fin de siècle", bezeichnet Judith Lang Zaimont als ein „persönliches Geschenk an die großen Klavierkomponisten der Romantik“. Durch Kontrastreichtum und die Perfektion der Form bietet Zaimont einen außergewöhnlich bereichernden Hörgenuss. Zaimont schuf mit "A Calender Set" einen musikalischen Kalender, der jeden Monat des Jahres genau darstellt. Eine absolute Herausforderung bietet ihr im Jahr 2000 vollendetes Werk "Sonata", das atmosphärisch, aber auch mit impressionistischen Anklängen konzipiert ist. Das Stück mündet schließlich in ein imposantes und virtuoses Finale.
