Schubert in außergewöhnlicher Lesart
Nach ihrem vielgepriesenen Beethoven-Zyklus haben die Mitglieder des Tokyo String Quartet nun den Cellisten David Watkin für ihre außergewöhnliche Lesart von Schuberts Streichquintett in C-Dur eingeladen - das letzte und vielleicht eindringlichste aller seiner Kammermusikwerke, in dem sich Licht und Schatten, Heiterkeit und Angst beständig gegenüberstehen. Das Programm umfasst auch den Quartettsatz von 1820 mit seinem fragmentarischen langsamen Teil.
