Die Britin Cheryl Frances-Hoad gewann 1996 im Alter von nur fünfzehn Jahren denn BBC Young Composer Award und hat sich seither zu einer erfolgreichen und viel beschäftigten Komponistin entwickelt , die 2010 sogar gleich zwei Preise beim renommierten British Composer Award erhielt.
