N.Hornig in FonoForum 04/09: "Als CD-Ersteinspielung ist "David's Song" für Cello und Streichquartett zu hören, ein Werk, das Senderovas 2006 zum 60. Geburtstag des Cellisten komponierte. Es ist ihm "in die Finger" geschrieben als kraftvolle, expressive Musik, die keine emotionale Distanz erlaubt. Sie ist nur zur Wirkung zu bringen, wenn man völlig in ihr aufgeht. Gerade das tut Geringas, der sein Cello bis an die physikalischen Grenzen fordert. In jedem Takt spürt man, dass ihm Senderovas Musik eine Herzensangelegenheit ist."
