Yevhen Seleznyov (ukr. ; born July 20, 1985 in Makiivka, Ukraine) is a Ukrainian footballer who currently plays for Ukrainian Premier League club Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk. Yevhen Seleznyov is a product of the Shakhtar academy. In the winter of 2007, he went on a one-and-a-half year loan deal to Arsenal Kyiv. Seleznyov was one of the top goal-scorers in the 2007 / 2008 Ukrainian Premier League season, having scored 17 goals in 24 games while on loan to Arsenal Kyiv. Since his return to Donetsk, he signed a 5-year deal. Yevhen scored his first goal for Shakhtar on August 3rd against Illichivets Mariupol in a 3-0 victory. On July 25, 2009, Seleznyov signed with rivals Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk in a deal worth EUR4.5 million. That same day, he scored his first goal for Dnipro on his debut in a Ukrainian Premier League match against Metalist Kharkiv.
