Biography
Victor Lemonte Wooten, geboren 1964, wurde vier Mal mit dem Grammy ausgezeichnet. Als einziger Musiker wurde er vom "Bass Player Magazine" drei Mal zum Bassisten des Jahres gewählt. Er macht Aufnahmen und gibt Konzerte sowohl mit seiner eigenen Band als auch als Mitglied des Grammy prämierten Ensembles "Béla Fleck & the Flecktones". Er ist ein gefragter Session-Musiker und Live-Gast bei Konzerten. So griff er unter anderem für "Chick Corea", "Dave Matthews" und "Prince" in die Saiten. Gemeinsam mit seiner Frau und seinen vier Kindern lebt er in einem Blockhaus in der Nähe von Nashville, Tennessee.
