The Tokyo Metro 8000 series ( Tky Chikatetsu 8000-kei) is an EMU type which operates on the Tokyo Metro Hanzmon Line in Tokyo, Japan. A total of 190 cars (19 10-car sets) were built between 1980 and 1994 by Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Kinki Shary, Nippon Sharyo, and Tky Car. The Tokyo Metro Hanzmon Line ( Tky-chikatetsu-hanzmon-sen) is a subway line owned and operated by Tokyo Metro located in Tokyo, Japan. The 16.8 km line serves the wards of Shibuya, Minato, Chiyoda, Ch, Kt and Sumida. Hanzmon Line trains run through onto the Tky Den-en-toshi Line from Shibuya Station and the Tbu Isesaki Line from Oshiage Station. Through-service trains between Tky Ch-Rinkan and Tbu Minami-Kurihashi cover a total distance of 98.5 km in a single run.
