The Tokyo Metro 03 series ( Tky Chikatetsu 03-kei ) is an EMU type which operates on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line. A total of 42 eight-car trainsets were built, entering service on 1 July 1988. The train is fitted with safety systems compatible with the Tky Tyoko Line and Tbu Isesaki Line. Certain cars were built as 5-door configurations, in contrast to the usual three per car.
