Regina Rawlinson, geboren 1957 in Bochum, studierte Anglistik, Amerikanistik und Germanistik sowie Literarisches Übersetzen aus dem Englischen. Seit 1988 übersetzt sie englische Belletristik ins Deutsche, u. a. Peter Carey, John le Carré und Lauren Weisberger. Sie ist Lehrbeauftragte für Literarisches Übersetzen an der LMU München und Vorsitzende des Münchner Übersetzer-Forums e.V .. Sie erhielt mehrere Arbeitsstipendien des Deutschen Übersetzerfonds e.V. , unter anderem für Zurück auf Glück von Patricia Marx. 2011 wurde ihr zudem das Arbeitsstipendium des Freistaates Bayern für literarische Übersetzerinnen und Übersetzer gewährt.
