Biografie
Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche ist ein Tulku, ein bewusst wiedergeborener Lama. Er wurde 1961 in Tibet geboren und floh mit seinen Eltern nach Indien, wo er später zum Meditationsmeister ausgebildet wurde und den Titel eines Geshe erhielt, den höchsten akademischen Titel in der tibetischen Tradition. 1991 ging er in die USA und gründete dort das Ligmincha-Institut. Er war einer der ersten Lamas, die die Lehren der Bön-Schule im Westen bekannt machten und wurde 1986 vom Dalai Lama zum offiziellen Repräsentanten der Bön-Tradition in der Abgeordnetenversammlung der Exiltibeter ernannt. Er lehrt seit Jahren auch regelmäßig im deutschsprachigen Raum, seine als Verein organisierte Sangha in Deutschland heißt Ligmincha Deutschland e.V.
