Not understanding what has happened, she starts walking toward the Columbia River. She meets a police officer along the way who is named Arthur Putnam. In shock she realizes she has just met her Great Grandfather.

In this Historical Fiction, with true facts woven in, Susie learns how to cope, always trying to find a way back until she falls in love, marries and has a family of her own. One day quite unexpectedly she goes back to 2017 and finds herself trying to go back to 1906 to be with her husband and children.
