Roland Schimmelpfennig, geboren 1967 in Göttingen, Autor, Übersetzer und Regisseur. Von 1999 bis 2001 Dramaturg an der Schaubühne Berlin. Seit 2001 Auftragsarbeiten für Hannover, Wien, Zürich u.a.
