Klappentext
Enter the shadowy world of Solomon Kane, the Puritan wanderer created by legendary author Robert E. Howard. Whose sword is swift, and his justice, absolute. In this special print release, experience the first three tales that introduced Robert E. Howard's grim avenger to the world-tales of dark horror, relentless vengeance, and supernatural menace. All wonderfully illustrated.
Volume 1 includes the following stories: Red Shadows - When a young girl's dying plea for vengeance reaches Solomon Kane, he embarks on a relentless pursuit of the ruthless brigand "Le Loup". From the shadowed forests of Europe to the unforgiving jungles of darkest Africa, Kane's oath of justice will lead him to confront not only the villain's evil but an ancient, mystical power that defies death itself. Skulls in the Stars - A haunted causeway. An eerie legend. As Kane travels the English countryside, he chooses the road few dare to take-only to find himself face-to-face with an unspeakable horror lurking in the mist. What truly haunts the path between the moors? And will even Solomon Kane's iron will be enough to face the truth?. Rattle of Bones - Seeking shelter from the storm, Kane arrives at a lonely roadside inn, the Cleft Skull-a place where death lingers in the walls, and secrets lurk behind locked doors. But Kane is no ordinary traveler, and when the rattle of bones echoes through the night, he prepares to confront the evil that waits within.
