"During the time that I spent with my fantastic models, we certainly did photo sessions, but we also talked about many things, about their lives in general, as well as some very special episodes. In this book I reflect on these photo sessions and some of the very interesting conversations which sparked the idea to write short stories. They are about the connection between models and photographers, and, most of all, about empowering strong and muscular women, something that would have been hardly imaginable a few decades ago. Nowadays athletic, muscular women are probably the most photographed kind of women with lots of followers on social media platforms. They are not only seen on stage in competitions anymore, they have entered other territories, for example art, film and even the fashion world. Doing photo shoots, for me is more than image creation, it is sharing a vivid experience. And that is exactly what I want to deliver with these short stories also, a vivid experience that involves the empowerment of strong and muscular women."
