Biography
Richard Wagner, geboren 1953, ist Autor von Lyrik und Prosa sowie Journalist und Essayist. Geboren im Banat, begann er im Kreis der Aktionsgruppe Banat engagierte Lyrik zu schreiben. 1987 konnte er mit seiner damaligen Frau Herta Müller in die BRD ausreisen. Er lebt seitdem in Berlin. Veröffentlichung mehrerer Gedichtbände, ausgezeichnet u. a. mit dem Sonderpreis des Leonce-und-Lena-Preises und dem Förderpreis des Andreas-Gryphius-Preises. 2014 wurde ihm das Verdienstkreuz der Bundesrepublik Deutschland verliehen.Notes:
